What Are the Benefits in Opting for A Machine-Stitched Unit, Opposed to A Hand-Sewn Piece?

We’re all aware that two things are needed to yield an effortless slay: a thin lace + clean construction

But what exactly is it that contributes to a clean construction?

YOUR CONSTRUCTION TECHNIQUE, OF COURSE (amongst other things)!

THREE BENEFITS OF HAVING YOUR CUSTOM UNIT CONSTRUCTED ON A SEWING MACHINE:

1. Longevity: Your unit is designed to last longer than a traditionally hand sewn piece — wefts + stitches (stitch tension, width, length, and seam allowance) are securely seamed — ultimately yielding a much neater piece

2. Undetectability— although hand-sewn projects produce flat pieces,machine-constructed custom pieces are guaranteed to produce noticeably flatter projects, minus bulking and loose wefts for a smooth finish — your sewing machine allows for both sides of your wefts to lay far flatter/closer together than hand-sewing will allow

3. Neatness: Your custom piece will remain noticeably neater in the months + years to come — guaranteed — wefts are attached to cap with multiple stitches, opposed to that of a hand-sewn piece

It’s all about the construction — thread tension, length, and seam allowance all make a difference — A lot of love + precision goes into each purchase. I prefer constructing my own pieces from scratch. In this way, I’m able to design each piece the way I see feasible — the way I’d prefer my own personal units.

Everything from the fit of your custom piece to the customization of your lace is completed with love.
